World of Warcraft? Limited Edition Strategy Guide

I ordered this online guide on January 18. It's now March 13 and I have received my second delay email from Amazon saying they estimate the delivery date to now be around April 6 or 7. I also do not blame Amazon, as they are just the distributor. I have sent an email to Brady games asking if it will be printed again, but I never received a response. I've decided to just buy the regular guide.

I've been waiting since February to get this Strategy Guide but nothing. I don't blame Amazon because they're just the distributers, but I don't know anything about the game and I have a hard time playing it. I hope they get a shipment soon, I need this strategy guide.

According to the emails I'm getting from Amazon, they expect shipment of this binderized version of the Strategy Guide by Mar. 22. I ordered this around end of January. Brady Games must be having some problems with getting it squared away, especially with all the recent WoW patches that Blizzard has released (currently at version 1.2.3). The funny thing is that the whole reason for this Limited Edition Binder Version is that you can download updated pages in a PDF format directly from www.bradygames.com. I've seen some of the PDF updates, and while nice, it also suffers the same problem that the regular strategy guide has... the text is extremely small. Maybe they are reworking the whole binder thing to accommadate larger text. We'll see. I'll update this review once I get my guide.

First, you need to know that the people at BradyGames that wrote this guide are really into RPG-style games. They all had characters in the WoW beta, so it's a labor of love Second, it's a really well done guide - the most comprehensive one I've ever seen, and I've seen quite a few. This guide will definitely enhance your WoW experience. I've used it many time already and shared it with friends. Great maps, detailed descriptions of each area, just a ton of information. The Collector's Edition came with a nice WoW 3-ring binder. If you don't need or want that, get the standard edition.

This is a really good Strategy Guide, it gives you maps and tons of info that helps you on your journeys across Azeroth. If you have played in the Beta or Open Beta though, I wouldn't recommend getting it, because you have probably already seen most of the game anyway :).
