Good points: Great financial advice for the beginner and a detailed spreadsheet for every month of the year
Bad points: Involves time to fill out the details on the spreadsheets. I think this book is better suited to people who have enough time on their hands.

This workbook is great and has some great forms and ideas to get your budget and personal finances in line. Also if you dont like the forms it is a great guide to follow and create your own forms

I've been married for 11 years, have 3 kids, and have tried to budget in the past. Nothing was successful!
We've used this book for 2 years now. The results are nothing shy of a miracle. Wait till you get it. By the way, if you enjoy paying cash for everything including vacations, cars, college expenses, big items, with no looming credit card bills, you'll absolutely love this life saving book. It helps you get control of all the everyday stuff too including groceries, utilities, mortgages, etc. You can track all those extras too like Flex Spending Accounts, Medical Expenses, and on and on...but it's easy format is really cool!

Here's what happened because of Judy Lawrence's book - "The Budget Kit":

(1)We gained confidence in ourselves being able to control our expenses - and we don't make that much money.

I bought this book for my younger sister because I had used the same one and found it to be so helpful. I spoke to her and she likes the book! It is great for anyone wanting to learn how to budget, how to reduce credit card debt, etc... without being too complicated. Anyone can use this book and easily understand how to improve their financial situation.
