I loved Lucas' way of telling such a dramatic and thrilling story all with a camera. I was disheartened to learn that I had been unable to view The Phantom Menace in person. I was delighted that my parents had procured a copy for my viewing pleasures. I watched it and immediately was brought back to my childhood days of of content viewing of the sci-fi trilogy. I watched it over and over again just as I'd watched the Original trilogy. I'll admit Jar-Jar is not such a great character and Jake Lloyd is slightly obnoxious but overlooking these little mishaps was a golden story of adventure! Finally episode II came out and I was actually able to view it in the theatres. Seeing Obi-Wan and Anakin mature struggling to find a way to live up to his promise to his dead master. This Episode continued the Star Wars tradition of following episodes being better than the preceding one. This episode portrayed many memorable events. Such as: The beginning of the Clone wars, the introduction of Count Dooku, and Yoda's first onscreen battle with a lightsaber. I loved this movie so much i saw it twice in theatres. Geeky, yes, am I ashamed, heck no! Finally the last episode of Star Wars was revealed to come out on March 16 (correct me if I'm wrong) 2006! I counted off the days and finally it came out. I went to see it and was again shown a movie better than its predessesor. Here the question that had been burning in the hearts of countless fans was about to be revealed: Why did Anikan Skywalker turned to the dark side? Here we see Anakin's fear turn him into what he always feared he would become. In the intense drama we see how the monster known as Vader was formed. We see that not only did he become a monster but he lost everything he loved. As Obi-Wan handed the infant Luke, one of the two beacons of hope that would keep him strong in his long exile, to the Lars family I couldn't help but long to flip open Episode IV and remind myself what happened to that little baby boy, The Rise of Anakin Skywalker to Power This boxset is so cool it has the three prequel films that chronicles Anakin Skywalker to eventually become Darth Vader also how it all began the phenomenon known as Star Wars great introduction to the Star Wars Saga. Just as promised!!! This movie came wrapped in the original packaging just as promised!!! My husband loved it so much I quickly purchased the second set!!! What a Trilogy Not a review of the moive, just the product. All come separately packaged in their own case, with a big case for all of them. Looks good, THX, widescreen. There are extras, but haven't watched them yet. May the force be with you. EXCELLENT CONDITION BUT ... The dvds were in excelent condition and shipping was fast. BUT I didn't
