Spore Creepy and Cute Parts Pack

i had to re-install spore, but after intaling this I cant now because it patches the game. nice. I dont have time to spend on tech support with EA who hve never been helpful anyhow. Dont get tis, or spore, or anything by EA. Sorry, tey need to put their customersfirst and foremost and fie all the slacker programmers they have working for them.

I am a SPORE nut, so I was very excited to get this expansion pack. It just wasn't worth the money to me. OK, I got a few interesting parts to use for creating creatures...but worth the money? Naw. There were creepy bug type parts, and a few cute parts, but nothing to get excited about. If you are thinking about getting this, save the money and use it on up-coming expansion packs. Don't get me wrong, it was nice getting some new parts, but just not worth the purchase price.

Bought it to the kids which are big fans of the Spore game. Guess what - they loved this too :)
This is not an additional game, but just an add-on that give additional options to create your creatures, that will be played in the Spore game. Bottom line - gives some more fun for the kids and extend their interest in the Spore game... till the next "best game ever" will be in favor...

My kids purchased spore along with all the extra creature packs. At first they were extremely excited. Its a pretty spiffy game and lots of fun. But, the copy protection is extremely frustrating. The computer started spontaneously asking for serial numbers each time the kids wanted to play the game. Then, the kids purchased another expansion pack and now the software asks that the CD be inserted at all times.

We aren't stealing this game. The kids have spent over $100 on all the modules. But it's pretty frustrating as now the game totally refuses to play at all. I run the installer and the game says something about needing to change permissions.

I contacted electronic arts technical support and they have not responded after 5 days. There's no phone number, just an e-mail address.

The thing is this - I don't mind copy protection if it doesn't get in the way of the kids using the game. But at this point we have purchased the game and the copy protection is making the game worthless.

I would also add another thing - the kids usually purchase games and sell them back at GameStop or on E-bay when they are done. Given the way this game has this totally nasty copy protection, I think this won't be possible.

I expect that this will be the last PC style game that I am going to allow the kids to play that has any form of copy protection. If I had known of all of this, I would have never let the kids purchase the game at all.

Be warned - you will be extremely frustrated with the copy protection on this game. I have never seen anything like it in 25 years of gaming. Totally amazing - if this is what these guys need to do to make any money selling PC games, then I hope PC games dies a horrible death. Electronic Arts and maxis are totally lunatic companies to put out such total crazy copy protection.

If you really like the game I guess it might be worth it. Took a few days for my game to accept an upgrade from version 2 to 3 to use it. Didnt really seem to add as much to the game. I got a few extra legs and head parts Wow.
